Terms & conditions

1. Estimates and quotes

On-site estimates are provided free of charge and without obligation. A written quote becomes binding only once accepted in writing by both parties. Unless otherwise stated, quotes are valid for 30 days from their date of issue.

2. Scheduling and weather

Start and completion dates are given in good faith and are approximate. Weather, ground conditions, material availability and municipal requirements may shift the schedule. During winter operations, service is provided by route and priority order following each snowfall.

3. Changes to the work

Any change to the agreed scope must be confirmed in writing and may adjust the price and timeline accordingly.

4. Payment

Payment is due as set out in your written quote or invoice. Overdue balances may bear interest at the rate stated on the invoice, as permitted by law.

5. Client responsibilities

The client agrees to provide reasonable access to the property, to identify property lines, and to disclose and mark any private underground installations (irrigation, lighting, wiring or other lines not covered by public utility locates such as Info-Excavation).

6. Materials and plants

Natural materials (stone, wood, soil, plants) vary in colour and texture; reasonable variation is not a defect. Plant material is warranted only where expressly stated in writing, as survival depends on weather, soil and client watering and care.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Quebec. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable Quebec law, including the Consumer Protection Act.
